Roger was living in a small house with his wife, an angelic daughter and a dear son. They were financially not sound and Roger had to sell magazines for their living. Roger worked very hard throughout the day so that he could meet the needs of his family. In the evenings and on the weekends, he used to study and had joined a University, so that he can get a better job to support his family.

Whenever the family complained about it, he said, he was doing all this for them although he yearns to spend more time with his dear family. Roger cleared his exams in flying colors and got a job as a floor supervisor in a good company. Roger shifted his kids to a better school. He wanted to work harder to get promoted as Manager, so that he could get more comforts for his family.

The day finally came when Roger got promoted to Manager level. He got a good hike in his salary. He employed a household maid so that his wife does not have to exert herself in the domestic activities. He was still not comfortable because he could not afford a big 3 bedroom house required for the family. He decided to work harder and get promoted again.

In addition to working late hours, he started working on the weekends as well. He hardly could have meals with the

As expected, Roger got promoted once again and now could afford a good bungalow for his family. He was now contented and declared that he will now spend more time with his family and live happily with them. Roger did not wake up the next day.
